Mu Cang Chai

Located in northwestern Vietnam, visitors will arrive in Mu Cang Chai after a long trip from Hanoi. This place is famous for its beautiful landscape with terraced fields scattered along with many small villages of ethnic minorities living in the area.
The most ideal time for camping here is between September and November every year, when terraced fields turn bright yellow and flower triangular flowers bloom. Remember not to miss Khau Pha Pass. You can camp overnight anywhere, but need to notify the local authorities in advance.

Ta Xua, Son La

The most attractive point in Ta Xua is the magnificent scenery of a sea of cloud from the Wind Peak. According to the reporter from the Culture Trip, to come here, visitors have to go through the road which is like “dinosaur backbone”, the two sides surrounded by abyss. The most ideal camping time of the year here is from October to April.

Cuc Phuong national park

Cuc Phuong National Park is located in the territory of 3 provinces, but most of the area is in Ninh Binh. This province is also famous for its beautiful karst terrain and many attractive landscapes. In addition to camping, visitors can participate in many outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, boating, bird watching, exploring spectacular caves, etc.

Suoi Vang, Lam Dong

If Ta Xua can make amateur cloud hunters find it difficult to conquer, another option in the highland area is Suoi Vang where is easier to reach. Floating clouds in Suoi Vang make tourists feel lost in a fairytale place. This place has cool weather all year round, ideal for evening camping. The nighttime weather here is quite cold, so bring a shirt and blanket to keep you warm.

Trung Luong picnic area, Quy Nhon

Trung Luong picnic area is about 30km from Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province. It is on the beach surrounded by beautiful nature. Guests can buy fresh seafood to organize a BBQ party on the beach. Next morning, don’t forget to spend the day exploring underwater corals. This campsite is usually very crowded during the peak season, so please book in advance.

Cu Lao Xanh, Binh Dinh

Cu Lao Xanh is a small island in Quy Nhon, surrounded by clear turquoise with dense flora. Apart from camping, there are also interesting outdoor activities such as snorkelling, swimming, barbecuing on the beach and sunbathing. Visitors should avoid it in July and August because there are often storms. November to January is also not an ideal time to camp.
